To be loved is to loved, and love is to be loved.

It’s not the matter of love alone that makes the humanity special, it is the feeling of humanity and the feeling of indifference towards the world that lead to love being…special.

My Name is Khan, never ceased to oppress the feeling of love in the movie and it captures its intensity when an autism person tries to proof that he’s not a terrorist when the world thinks otherwise.

For a person of such caliber acting, Shah Rukh Khan defies the current perception of the world to autisms, proving that they too can express their love.

It’s not about religion, it’s not about wealth, it’s not about politics, but love alone can withstand the ridicule of a cruel world.

For every reason that it is love isn’t over rated.

Without love there isn’t mankind and without mankind there isn’t any love.

Love, to begin with… is to love.

Four Christmases I saw ‘Four Christmases’ today and it was HILARIOUS! Starring Vince Vaughn(Brad) and Reese Witherspoon(Kate) playing an upscale very happy unmarried couple from San Fransisco who ‘lies’ each Christmas to their family to spend vacations together.

‘You can’t spell ‘families’ without ‘lies’, right?’ – Brad

However their carefully planned Fiji trip for this Christmas was interrupted by the heavy fog that cancelled all the flying trip out from San Fransisco.

Somehow unable to escape from the situation, they have to undergo not one, not two but four relative-chocked festivities that had left them to rewind back to their childhood fears and weird moments.

As they went through it all, they slowly somehow learned the happiness that babies bring to married couple. Things went a bit strained when Kate brought up the ‘marriage’ topic in one of their conversations.

Babies vomitting, loads of wrestling techniques(believe it or not they seemed real enough to me), throwing kids(literally) and. . .pregnancy test. Yes, plus a whole lot of comedies and there you have it, a romantic comedy movie fit for this Christmas season. Worth the watch if you also enjoy ‘Bedtime Stories‘.

*SPOILER!: Somehow Kate had cooties and gone to fat camp and Brad’s real name was Orlando. (O.o)

Bedtime Stories

Where can you find an alien, a Greek battle, a red ‘cherry ferrari’ horse, a damsel in distress and a cowboy? It’s the ‘Bedtime Stories’ of course!

Played by Adam Sandler as Skeeter Bronson, the son of an ex-motel owner,Marty Bronson, who was forcefully ‘handed’ his motel to Barry Nottingham for the fear of bankruptcy.

Made a promise to Marty to give his son -8yrs old that time-, Skeeter, run his hotel when he’s grown up Barry Nottingham broke his and gave for the last 25years the job of running the hotel to his soon-to-be son in-law, Kendall, who’s dating his daughter, Violet, at that time.

Skeeter’s dream of becoming a manager of the hotel was once again shattered when Barry Nottingham announces that Kendall will be managing the new luxury hotel that he’s going to build soon.

But Skeeter’s -just the hotel handyman at the time-  gets his hope when he started to babysit his sister’s two children, Patrick and Bobbi. He soon realised that the bedtime stories that the kids made up with him before bed turn out to be a reality the next day.

With the help of the kids -they don’t know that their stories were going to be real- Skeeter slowly made his chances to be a manager of the new hotel.

Things get twisted when he gets to know that the hotel will be build on the school site where his nephew and niece are attending and studying.

Losing the girl -who’s fairest of them all- and the trust of both of his nephew and niece, Skeeter tried his best only to know that the school will be blown off in approximately, 13minutes.

With loads of comedy and the presence of Rob Schneider, Adam Sandler truely makes everyone in the theatre hall holding to their sits laughing from the beginning til the end.

A comedy movie that you don’t want to miss for the start of this new year, ‘Bedtime Stories’ is the movie to watch with your parents, partners, beloved, grand parents, grand children. . .everybody!

I saw 2 movies today; ‘Juno’ and ‘Bedtime Stories’. Both are a pretty nice stories especially ‘Bedtime Stories’ that had put me in stitches from the beginning til the end.

But first I’m going to tell you about ‘Juno’. It all started with ‘the chair’. Having drunk litres of ‘SunnyD’s, Juno MacGuff, who’s only a junior at her high school discovered that she was pregnant with Paulie Bleeker’s after taking 3 pregnancy tests on the same day.

Kind of panic she decided to call her best friend, Leah, who’s sexually active asking her opinion on what can she do about the pregnancy. after a while of talking -they used a lot of make-up words such as ‘vag’ as to ‘vagina’- Juno then decided to go to ‘Women Now’ a clinic that caters to young pregnant teenage women to seek an abortion.

But her intention was interrupted by Su-Chin, who was picketing outside the clinic and told that Juno’s unborn child even has nails. A little freaked out or concerned Juno then made up her mind to set her unborn child for adoption.

It all went crazy after she found out about the soon-to-be parents(Mark and Vanessa) to her unborn child is going to file a divorced. As she faces some tough decisions, flirts with adulthood and ultimately figures out where she belongs in her world had the support from her total cool dad and Brenda, her dog-lover stepmother.

Played Ellen Page as the main character,Juno, she showed the quality of a star in-the-making. This Movie also starred Jennifer Garner who played the soon-to-be mother-Vanessa- of Juno’s unborn child and Micheal Cera played as Paulie Bleeker.

A good romantic coming-of-age movie, this is a story about not only knowing your responsibilities as a child but also knowing that your true love is the one who can except who you are whether when you’re at your best or. . . not so as you think. Good movie and worth your movie ticket.

I saw this MV once and the song just sticks to my head. I was a bit ’emo’ at that time maybe that was why I instantly love it. And still do. Just something I want share with you.

The opening scene begins with Nicole Scherzinger on the piano and slowly brings up the pace of the music video showing the girls. Takes up the music video is a lovely location of a desert. A nice touch with the use of animals such as butterfly, snake and even a wolf. The chorus gets the girls walking on a run-down road somewhere in a desert.

This is probably one of my most favorite music video of The Pussycat Dolls‘ album, Doll Domination. Beautifully done with all the scenes; putting an old pinball machine, the desert location -where’s that? loves it- the beat up old truck; and the girls also showed a good emotional playing it’s like you can ‘feel’ what they’re feeling at that time.

A story about a girl that couldn’t take it any longer in her relationship. Though she tried to work things out but just couldn’t get her boyfriend to understand. Though she loves him very much she’d just had to let him go because staying in the relationship still will only bring more pain to her.

The music video ends with Nicole Scherzinger again, playing the piano.

‘I see dead people…’ It’s a popular quote from Haley Joel Osment (The Sixth Sense) who played a kid that can see dead people, duh~ but how far can you really see not only ‘dead people’ in your life but also your relationships, health or even romance? some people say our future hold from the orientation of our faces, horoscopes or even the ridiculous magic 8-balls. We leave nothing out when it comes to interpreting what our future holds.

What about our hands then? palm readers take it as a blueprint of your life your destiny and your character. It’s close to believable compared to your magic 8-ball, yea. Aren’t quite ready to pay a visit to a palm reader yet? well, this information that I stumbled upon should be a good start.

Which hand?
It’s both. It just depends on who you ask. Some use a man’s right hand and a woman’s left hand. Other’s say the dominant/active hand -the one you write with-

The shape of hand
There are four shapes used to classify hands and they’re related to the four elements; earth, air, water, and fire.

  • broad, square palms with square, short fingers
  • thick/coarse skin, ruddy color
  • deep, clear, and straight lines

Earth hands belong to practical and stubborn who have a strong vitality and a close connection to the outdoors and nature. Many work with their hands and find comfort in tangible things. They are dependable, straightforward, and responsible.

  • square or rectangular palms with long fingers
  • low-set thumbs and dry skin
  • thin, clear lines

Those with air hands are social, talkative, and intellectual types who seek change and mental stimulation. They can be restless and tend to do things in innovative ways.

  • long, sometimes oval-shaped palms with long fingers
  • soft, damp skin
  • lots of fine lines, often unclear

Water hands belong to emotional, creative, and introverted types who are sensitive and perceptive. They can be vulnerable and a bit naïve. They tend to be quiet and make decisions based on gut feelings.

  • square or rectangular palms with short fingers
  • warm, flushed, pinkish skin
  • lots of prominent lines

Those with fire hands are spontaneous, bold, and action-oriented types who take risks. They are extroverts who are very optimistic and enthusiastic. They are somewhat impulsive and very confident.

The Major Lines

Life Line
The life line starts between the thumb and the index finger. It then curves down widely around the thumb until it touches the wrist. This line represents your health, vitality, and quality of life. It can also show major events in your life and how others affect you. Its length has nothing to do with how long you will live. If you have an extra life line, you have extra protection against ill health.

  • Curvy – lots of energy
  • Short or shallow – easily manipulated
  • Break in line – sudden change in life
  • Close to the thumb – not generous with time or love
  • Circle interrupts line – injury or hospitalization

Heart Line
The top, horizontal line on your palm is the heart line; it starts from the edge of the hand where your pinky finger is and travels across the top of the palm. Many palm readers use this line to determine our romantic relationships. It can also indicate our actual cardiac health, emotional stability, and tendencies toward depression. Breaks in the love line can represent heartbreaks and breakups.

  • Ends between fore and middle finger – falls in love easily
  • Straight across the palm – even, controlled emotions
  • Wavy – lots of lovers, but no serious relationships
  • Straight and short – more about sex than romantic love
  • Touches life line – frequently heartbroken

Head Line
The head line is the horizontal line right below the heart line. It represents what kind of intelligence you possess and the way you communicate. A curved head line indicates a creative, spontaneous type while a straight line indicates a more practical and ordered approach to life. A clear line indicates focus; the longer the line, the more potential you have.

  • Wavy – short attention span, little focus
  • Straight – realistic
  • Circle or cross in line – crisis
  • Close to heart line – fearful, cautious nature, close-minded
  • Far from heart line – confident, a risk taker, open-minded

Fate Line
This line begins at the bottom of the palm and travels upward toward the middle finger. It is also called the line of destiny. Often broken and overlapping other lines, it shows how much (or little) our lives are affected by external circumstances, like society, our friends and families, and world events.

  • Strong and deep – very controlled by fate
  • Breaks/changes in direction – prone to changes from outside forces
  • Lines that cross fate line – others will affect your destiny
  • Starts joined to life line – self-made individual
  • Joins with life line – personal interests will be surrendered to those of others
  • Starts at base of thumb and crosses life line – support from family and friends

This is just a small introduction to palmistry. To get the whole picture, factor in things like where you wear your rings, special characteristics of your thumbs, nails, and fingerprints, how flexible or rigid your hands are, and countless other nuances. Amazingly, the lines on our hands can change over time, so don’t get too pessimistic if your love life looks doomed or overly optimistic if you read fame and fortune in your future. Nothing is set in stone and our choices matter as much as our lines.

P/S: Though some things are quite believable, you must always remember and to believe in YOURself that YOU are in control of your own life. Be CONFIDENT. Anyway, thanks to Natalie Josef for this article!

Where the Sidewalk Ends

There is a place where the sidewalk ends
And before the street begins
And there the grass grows soft and white,
And there the sun burns crimson bright.
And there the moon-bird rests from his flight
To cool in the peppermint wind.

A blogger\'s interpretation of the God of Love when he is in love

The God of Love is in LOVE!?
who is his lover?
she must be a beautiful seed!
to make his fireworks fly
to make Cupid’s arrow shot his heart
to make him feel so high

Let Michelangelo sculpt her!
Let my angels sing with lollipops!
Let babies all gurgle with laughter and surprise!
for I, the God of Love
is in LOVE!

Funny thing love is
to make one care for the other
to make one feels so blessed
to make one even sing in the bathroom again
Funny thing love is…
