So you have the mocktail drinks recipes and you don’t want to just serve it in regular plastic cups, do you?(don’t even think of that!) Why not try on some of these tips to give your mocktail drinks special effects. They are simple, cute and did I mentioned that they are totally EASY? Give it a go! 😀

  • How about try serving your mocktail drinks in unusually shaped glasses. And to give your glasses a frosted look at the edge, dip the rim into lemon juice and then dip it into sugar. Simple and sweet!
  • Serving a mocktail is all about the presentation and is very important. Add colorful decorations on your mocktail drinks – swizzle sticks, paper flowers, straws and even sparklers! These decorations are all cheap and easy to obtain from your local grocery store.
  • If you wanna add straws, try adding some colorful ones. They are great and you can just cut them up for small glasses!
  • For skewing fruits, you can use cocktaill sticks or better still, use toothpicks!
  • Slices of fruits can also be used to add a twist as your mocktail’s punch decoration.
  • You can also add some crushed ice into your drinks. Just place ice cubes in a plastic bag and crush the ice with a heavy object.

Oh before I forgot, quantities and proportions are also very important and can sometimes cause confusions in making a tasteful mocktail. So here is a simple guide for you to get the ingredient’s quantities in the correct propotions:

1 oz (ounce) equals to 2 tbs (tablespoons)

1 shot equals 1½ oz (ounces)

1 cup equals 8 oz (ounces)

30ml equals 1 oz

Well, what are you waiting for then? Start making your very own perfect mocktail! 😀
